Islamabad's Shakar Padiyan Ground PTI's March 27 meeting is being watched by a large number of people with various claims.
The PTI's stage management had yesterday claimed that millions of people attended the rally, while Islamabad police put the number of participants at 60,000 to 70,000 and the Intelligence Bureau put the number at 26,000.
In this regard, a report has also been published on the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) in which the venue of the meeting, capacity and number of participants have been discussed.
A BBC report has claimed through Google Maps that the venue of Imran Khan's rally at Shakarpurian Parade Ground is spread over 574,531 square feet, so in case of rush there are about 167,000 people. There is room for accumulation.
The report says that if the participation of maximum number of people in the ground is discussed, then 213,000 people can gather here, but in case of emergency, an accident may also take place. An Islamabad government official told the BBC that the number of participants in the rally was more than 50,000 and that the number could be as high as 100,000 if people on the streets were included.
